Joshua Greenberg, Esq. bookended his legal education of copyright, trademark, and entertainment contracts at Cardozo School of Law (J.D., LL.M.) with film production studies at the prestigious programs of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (B.F.A.) and Columbia University's graduate School of the Arts (M.F.A.), where he became the award-winning student producer of multiple nationally recognized short films.
A licensed attorney for over two decades, Joshua has served the intellectual property interests of globally recognized brands in the entertainment industry during his legal and business training at DC Comics and Dimension Films, and his work for the royalties department of Universal Music Group in the recording industry's early transition to digital distribution.
In private practice, Joshua draws on his own experience and instincts as a writer, musician, and filmmaker to better understand and serve the needs and interests of his clients and in helping them navigate the complex issues of contract negotiations and intellectual property valuation and protection for their own creative assets.
My 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid has no pickup. It likes to hydroplane on roads hardly slicked by a drizzle. And it has very few bells and whistles. But it was dirt cheap. And it gets me where I need to go. And I rarely need to stop for gas to fill up its 11 gallon tank. And this past week, it beat a shiny blue BMW to the same destination.
